Researchers sew atomic lattices seamlessly together

(The smoother the seam between two materials, the more easily electrons flow across it -- essential for how well the electronic devices function.)Full Story

The U.S. National Science Foundation propels the nation forward by advancing fundamental research in all fields of science and engineering.
