Study shows where brain transforms seeing into acting

The posterior parietal cortex plays a crucial role in allowing the mammalian brain to turn visual information (such as a green traffic light), into motion (such as stepping on the gas), researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Picower Institute found in a new study. Full Story
