ENG invites junior faculty to apply to attend the 2020 NSF ENG CAREER Proposal Writing Workshop

The 2020 NSF ENG CAREER Proposal Writing Workshop will be held March 31 - April 2, 2020, in Arlington, VA, just outside of Washington, DC.
The proposal writing workshop aims to provide junior faculty who plan to submit a CAREER Award proposal to a program in the NSF’s Directorate for Engineering (ENG) with a CAREER proposal review experience and a forum in which they can interact with NSF Program Directors and recent NSF CAREER awardees.
Attendees of the 2020 NSF ENG CAREER Proposal Writing Workshop will benefit from:
- Six mock proposal reviews by panels
- Plenaries from engineering leaders
- Focus sessions on time management and effective proposal writing
- Guidance on the integration of education and research
- Networking opportunities and industry-focused discussions
- Interaction across disciplines and engineering schools nationwide
Participation in the 2020 NSF ENG CAREER Proposal Writing Workshop is limited to 300 people. Participants will be selected from those who submit completed applications. Applications will open in November 2019 and close on January 6, 2020.
