Slide Title: Research Agendas & Research on the September 11, 2001 Attacks

Slide Words: In addition to the massive loss of human life, the September 11, 2001 attacks had widespread and long lasting effects on the social systems and public services that support our way of life. Professor Rae Zimmerman initiated an ICIS partnership with the Natural Hazards Center and the Public Entity Risk Institute to publish the results of an ICIS workshop, "Learning from Urban Disasters: National Science Foundation Response and Opportunities for Future Research Workshop" (CMS-0203371) to disseminate the findings of not only the workshop but also the individual research projects supported by NSF as Quick Response Grants and Small Grants for Exploratory Research.
