Green Science
April 22 was Earth Day, a day for celebrating the environment and thinking about what we can do to protect it. For some, April is Earth Month.
NSF supports basic research and educational efforts on a wide range of national and global environmental challenges--from green gasoline and other alternative sources of energy to climate change and protecting the Earth's oceans. The month of April gives us an opportunity to bring more attenton to some of these efforts. For "Green Science," we've collected news that we've highlighted on our home page this month, along with links to more environmental news and information.
