WHITE HOUSE CEREMONY
The White House presented the National Medal of Science and the National Medal of Technology and Innovation to the 2011 awardees at a White House ceremony on Feb. 1, 2013. An on-demand version of the live event webcast is available for viewing or downloading.

50TH ANNIVERSARY MEDAL OF SCIENCE CELEBRATION AT AAAS
NSF hosted a celebration on Feb. 17, 2013, toasting five decades of Medal of Science laureates during the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) 2013 annual meeting in Boston, Mass. Laureates attending the meeting were invited to the celebration, and they were also invited to stop by NSF’s broadcast soundbooth to record brief interviews.
