Sohel Ahmed


Biography:

Sohel Ahmed is a Financial Review and Cost Analyst, Cost Analysis and Audit Resolution Branch, Division of Institution and Award Support (DIAS), within the Foundation's Office of Budget, Finance and Award Management (BFA).  Sohel assumed this position in May 2008.  His primary responsibilities include performance of indirect cost rate reviews of proposed awards and cost analysis support for large procurements. 

From April 2000 until he started his NSF career, Mr. Ahmed was employed by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCCA).  In his position as a DCAA auditor, Sohel performed review of indirect costs, budgets, accounting systems and financial capability, as well as reconciliation of costs to financial records.
