Biography:
Vanessa came to the National Science Foundation in August 2001 to the Division of Grants and Agreements, served as a grants specialist from 2001 to 2008, and has since then servd as Team Leader for various portfolios.
A federal employee since 1982, Vanessa has served in various federal positions with Department of the Navy, Defense Commissary Agency, and Department of Labor.
Vanessa holds an Associate Degree from Tidewater Community College in Secretarial Science, a Bachelor's Degree from University of Mary Washington (Liberal Studies, Leadership), and a Bachelor's Degree from Old Dominion University (Human Services).
