In 2015, unemployment rates were higher for underrepresented minority women than for all the remaining scientists and engineers combined. Between 2013 and 2015, the unemployment rate declined among Asian women but remained fairly similar for the other racial and ethnic groups. Overall, the rate fell slightly for all scientists and engineers.
