Overall

Unlike underrepresented minorities and whites, Asians earn a higher proportion of S&E degrees than of non-S&E degrees at all degree levels. The share of Asians earning S&E bachelor's degrees rose between 1995 and 2005 and has been relatively steady in the past decade. The share of Asians earning S&E master's and doctoral degrees has been stable between 2000 and 2010 but has declined slightly in recent years.
