Synopsis: Y76756X - UPS Removal and Installation

The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to procure deinstallation and installation of Siemens UPS on a sole source basis. Siemens is the current system in use at NSF and is a proprietary product of Siemens. No other source can meet the requirement due to warranty and maintenance issues. See Numbered Note 22 (delete “forty-five days” and replace with “five days”). The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
