Microsoft and NSF Partner in Cloud Computing

CISE and OCI announce an exciting new opportunity for the science and engineering communities to conduct research and education activities in cloud computing and data-intensive computing, and their applications.  

Through an MOU between Microsoft Corporation and the National Science Foundation, Microsoft will provide NSF supported-researchers access to Microsoft's Windows Azure platform, complementing the computational platforms that NSF has made available to the research community to date.   More....

The Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) has canceled its request for CPATH proposals due April 22, 2010, and the CPATH program solicitation has been archived.   More....
