Committee on Audit and Oversight (A&O)
Charge
The Committee on Audit and Oversight is responsible for overseeing NSF's principal administrative processes,
financial systems and internal controls. As delegated by the National Science Board, the Committee on Audit and
Oversight provides general supervision over the NSF Inspector General who is responsible for all audits and
investigations of NSF programs, awards, and personnel. The Committee also reviews and advises the Board of issues
related to the effectiveness, efficiency, or integrity of NSF's operations. more...
