Science and Engineering Indicators
Science and Engineering Indicators reports provide high-quality quantitative information on the U.S. and international science and engineering enterprise.
Indicators consists of detailed thematic or focus area reports, a state data tool and a congressionally mandated report delivered biennially to the president and Congress that highlights important trends from across the focus areas.

NSF Merit Review Reports
These reports to the National Science Board include data on proposals and awards and other pertinent information, as well as descriptions of special activities that NSF has undertaken in support of the merit review process.
OIG Semiannual Reports to Congress
The NSF Office of Inspector General (OIG) reports semiannually to the head of NSF and Congress on their offices' activities during the 6-month periods ending March 31 and September 30.
The Chair of the National Science Board transmits these reports, as well as the NSF management responses to the reports, to the following congressional committees:
- House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
- Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
- Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions.
