Dr. Stacey Simon
AAAS Fellow
Directorate for Biological Sciences
Division of Molecular & Cellular Biosciences
Class of 2013

Dr. Stacey Simon is a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow in the Directorate for Biological Sciences, Division of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences (BIO/MCB). She earned her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology at Virginia Polytechnic and State University and is a plant molecular biologist with expertise in the fields of plant disease resistance, plant molecular biology, and epigenetics. As a AAAS Fellow, Dr. Simon will pursue her interests in international partnerships for science and technology innovation, STEM education and training, and broadening participation in STEM fields. In her spare time, Dr. Simon enjoys music, art, cooking, and running.
