Unmanned underwater vehicle provides first 3-D images of underside of Antarctic sea ice

Scientists successfully test an unmanned underwater vehicle beneath Antarctic sea ice. The UAV produced high-resolution 3-D maps of previously inaccessible sea-ice floes.
