New NSF ENG funding opportunities for core research programs
The U.S. National Science Foundation Directorate for Engineering (NSF ENG) has published three new funding opportunities supporting foundational research in engineering.
Multiple NSF ENG core research areas are included in each new funding opportunity:
- ENG: Chemical, Bioengineering, Energy and Transport Systems (CBET).
- ENG: Civil, Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation (CMMI).
- ENG: Electrical, Communications and Computing Systems (ECCS).
These ENG funding opportunities accept proposals at any time and do not have proposal deadlines. See each opportunity for more information, including links to more detailed program-specific information.
Researchers considering submitting a proposal are encouraged to email the relevant program contacts listed in each funding opportunity with questions about program fit or for additional information.
Beyond funding these areas of core research, ENG supports education research, workforce development, research centers, research infrastructure and other targeted activities in engineering.
