NSF AI Datasets: Unlocking Dataset Value for AI-Enabled Scientific Discovery

About the event

The key goals of the NSF AI Datasets: Unlocking Dataset Value for AI-Enabled Scientific Discovery program are:

  1. To apply artificial intelligence to extract features, generate metadata, and integrate scientific datasets.
  2. To build robust data pipelines that support automated analysis and AI-enabled research.
  3. To augment and harmonize existing datasets to increase their value for new scientific discoveries.

Join the U.S. National Science Foundation program staff for an informational webinar on the NSF AI Datasets: Unlocking Dataset Value for AI-Enabled Scientific Discovery program. The session will provide an overview of the funding opportunity, which supports efforts to increase the value of existing scientific datasets by making them more accessible, interoperable, and ready for artificial intelligence-enabled and automated analysis.

NSF Program Officers will also review proposal expectations and key considerations for prospective applicants, followed by time for audience questions. The webinar is intended for researchers, data scientists, cyberinfrastructure specialists, research institutions, and other members of scientific communities interested in preparing high-value datasets for new AI-enabled discovery and interdisciplinary use.
