About the event
The NSF Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Training-based Workforce Development for Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (NSF CyberTraining) program seeks to prepare, nurture, and grow the national scientific research workforce. It supports the creation and use of advanced cyberinfrastructure (CI) to potentially transform fundamental science and engineering research and education. The program also contributes to the nation's economic competitiveness and security.
The goals of this solicitation are to:
- Ensure broad adoption of CI tools, methods, and resources by the research community to catalyze major research advances and enhance researchers' abilities to lead the development of new CI.
- Integrate core CI literacy and discipline-appropriate advanced skills into the nation's undergraduate and graduate educational curriculum and instructional materials. This includes computational and data-driven research methods.
The NSF CyberTraining program focuses on three overlapping scientific communities: CI professionals, CI contributors, and CI users.
Note: NSF Program Directors will present the webinar. Q&A will follow the presentation.
