About the series

The Verticals-enabling Intelligent Network Systems (VINES) program is dedicated to advancing research and technology development in next-generation intelligent network systems. It aims to improve performance and capabilities across the networking protocol and computation stacks while ensuring resilience and interoperability. This multisector initiative, led by the U.S. National Science Foundation in partnership with various industry and international organizations, focuses on enhancing U.S. competitiveness in advanced telecommunications and building a skilled workforce in the field.
