Updates to NSF Research Security Policies

On July 10, 2025, NSF issued an Important Notice providing updates to the agency's research security policies, including a research security training requirement, Malign Foreign Talent Recruitment Program annual certification requirement, prohibition on Confucius institutes and an updated FFDR reporting and submission timeline.

Office Hours Resume Today

The NSF Engines Program Team is hosting several office hour appointments throughout the application period to answer questions about the program and funding opportunity. Before signing up for an appointment, prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to watch the program overview video as well as read the funding opportunity and FAQ documents. It is often the case, that many answers can be found in these resources, leaving more time in office hours, to discuss more region/team-specific questions. Due to a large volume of requests and limited time slots, members representing the same regional team should plan to join the same office hour appointment.
