Synopsis
Research supported by the Topology program includes the areas listed below. This is not a comprehensive list. Proposals on other relevant topics will also be considered. Contact the program if you have questions.
algebraic topology,
contact and symplectic structures,
differential topology,
geometric topology,
low-dimensional topology,
quantum topology, and
topological data analysis.
Conferences
Proposals for conferences, workshops, summer/winter schools and similar activities in Topology must be submitted to the MPS Mathematical Sciences Research Programs solicitation using the "conference" or “travel” proposal type in research.gov. Proposers should select Topology as the program of interest. For proposals seeking no more than $50,000, submit at least six months in advance of the conference or workshop date. For proposals seeking more than $50,000, submit at least nine months in advance of the conference or workshop date.
