NSF releases final South Pole Station Master Plan
The U.S. National Science Foundation Office of Polar Programs has released the South Pole Station Master Plan (SPSMP). The release of this plan is an important milestone in NSF's commitment to ensuring that the stations, camps, infrastructure and equipment that enable the U.S. Antarctic Program can support researchers who will continue to advance the frontiers of science for decades to come.
The final SPSMP is posted online at www.usap.gov, along with the existing master plans for NSF McMurdo Station and NSF Palmer Station.
