We are pleased to release the fifth edition of Science on the Ice: The United States Antarctic Program.
is a broad introduction to United States research and operations in Antarctica. The publication explores many realms of Antarctica including historical and contemporary United States presence and the logistical challenges involved, the commitment to preserving the continent, and the scientific endeavors and discoveries spanning fields from astrophysics to geology to zoology (and a lot in between).
