National Science & Technology Week (NSTW) was one of NSF's main outreach efforts from 1985 through 1999. For one week each spring, NSTW involved students, teachers, parents, scientists, engineers and others in informal education activities. NSTW was succeeded by Find Out Why, a year-long outreach effort offering everyday science activities for families to do together. More recently, NSF participated in the multi-agency program, Excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Education (ESTEME) Week. Materials archived from NSTW, Find Out Why and ESTEME Week will be added to our Web site soon.

Meanwhile, we encourage you to visit our Classroom Resources, a diverse collection of lessons and web resources for classroom teachers, their students and students' families.
