Notice of Intent to Sole Source 49100425Q0007: American Mathematical Association (AMS) Annual Subscription
The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to purchase a subscription from American Mathematical Association (AMS) for the annual MathSciNet online abstract service January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025.
The MathSciNet is an electronic version of the Mathematical Reviews archive. Program Directors in the Division of Mathematical Sciences make extensive use of this database in identifying potential reviewers for NSF proposals.
Mathematical Reviews (MR) serves researchers and scholars in the mathematical sciences by providing timely information on peer-reviewed articles and books. MathSciNet®, the electronic version of MR, presents a fully searchable database with many tools designed to help navigate the mathematical sciences literature. The resource is tailored specifically to mathematics and statistics publications. The expert reviews of publications and aggregation of bibliographic data are not available elsewhere. There is no other source for this information.
Under the order, the funding will cover the cost of the annual subscription.
The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. Sole Source 49100425Q0007 Form (PDF, 332.36 KB)

Notice of Intent to Sole Source 49100424P9025: Course Materials from FranklinCovey
The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with FranklinCovey to provide course materials for the courses Project Management for the Unofficial Project Manager and Unconscious Bias: Understanding Bias to Unleash Potential.
NSF employees will use the materials to instruct other employees in the Foundation in two courses. NSF staff are certified to deliver the materials which greatly reduces the cost of delivery. In Project Management for the Unofficial Project Manager, participants learn to scope, plan, track, and close projects. In Unconscious Bias: Understanding Bias to Unleash Potential, participants learn to identify and adjust for bias and cultivate meaningful connections. Unconscious Bias Electronic Kit is a GSA item. FranklinCovey is the only vendor capable of providing the course materials.
The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106.1(b). This Notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
