About the event
The U.S. National Science Foundation will hold an information session about the NSF IUSE/Professional Formation of Engineers: Revolutionizing Engineering Departments (IUSE/PFE: RED) program on Aug. 26, 2025, starting at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
NSF program officers from the NSF Division of Engineering Education and Centers and the NSF Division of Undergraduate Education will share information about the NSF RED competition, focusing on Tracks 2-4:
- RED Adaptation and Implementation (Track 2).
- RED Innovation (Track 3).
- RED Innovation Partnerships (Track 4).
Proposals in Tracks 2-4 are due Sept. 9, 2025.
We will describe the solicitation and review criteria, explain the differences between the tracks, describe some common mistakes, and share some best practices.
The solicitation overview will be recorded and distributed to those who register to attend. A Q&A will be available to those who attend live. Please send questions to eer-programs@nsf.gov.
While welcome to come to this RED Track 2-4 webinar, principal investigators who are intending to submit a RED Planning proposal (Track 1) should have already submitted a concept outline to program officers by August 9, and are encouraged to review the existing Track 1 webinar.
