Updates to NSF Research Security Policies

On July 10, 2025, NSF issued an Important Notice providing updates to the agency's research security policies, including a research security training requirement, Malign Foreign Talent Recruitment Program annual certification requirement, prohibition on Confucius institutes and an updated FFDR reporting and submission timeline.

2023 EPSCoR PI Meeting

Estab­lished Program to Stim­u­late Com­pet­i­tive Research (EPSCoR)

The NSF Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) is excited to announce that the 2023 EPSCoR PI Meeting will be held onsite at the NSF building on Monday, May 15 – Tuesday, May 16. NSF staff are welcome to attend the meeting to learn more about EPSCoR and interact with the EPSCoR PI community. Featured sessions include an Opening Plenary by Dr. Kelvin Droegemeir, former Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and a Distinguished Lecture from Dr. Prakash Nagarkatti on a comparative analysis of outputs in EPSCoR and non-EPSCoR states. The hybrid meeting will have an in-person and virtual component. Advance registration is required for both the in-person and virtual options.
