EPSCoR Live!

About the series

EPSCoR Live! is a virtual forum to enable conversations about U.S. National Science Foundation programs and topics of particular relevance to the NSF Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (NSF EPSCoR) community. Researchers, educators and leaders within research administration, especially those in NSF EPSCoR jurisdictions, are welcome to join these sessions to learn more about the latest programs and news and to engage in Q&A with invited speakers. Events are planned at roughly monthly intervals, and the topics vary for each event. Each event will begin with a brief presentation, followed by extensive questions and discussion. The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) serves as the host organization for EPSCoR Live!

The Genesis Mission

Please join us for this month's "EPSCoR Live!" on Sept. 23, 2026, at 4 p.m. EDT. The Genesis Mission is a whole-of-government effort to create the infrastructure to support artificial intelligence for science along with a set of science and technology challenges positioned to benefit from AI-enabled solutions. Ellen Zegura will provide an overview of the Genesis Mission goals and activities, then will focus on the U.S. National Science Foundation's contributions, highlighting opportunities for researchers and educators to participate.
