The Division of Ocean Sciences (OCE) at NSF uses a listserv (email distribution list) as an important mechanism of communication with the community.  In addition to filling a role to distribute information directly, such as Dear Colleague Letters, Solicitations, etc., OCE will use the listserv to bring to the community’s attention other ongoing activities that will be posted to the www site, such as changes in personnel (e.g., Program Office rotators, staff, etc.).  This communications system replaces the pdf newsletter “Making Waves”.

If you already receive messages directly from Kandace Binkley, you are already subscribed to the OCE listserv.  For those not currently receiving OCE emails and who would like to subscribe, please send an email to listserv@listserv.nsf.gov and in the text of the message, put the following command:

Subscribe ocenewsletter your name
Example: subscribe ocenewsletter John Doe

or send an email to Kandy Binkley at kbinkley@nsf.gov and ask to be added to the mailing list.  If you are currently on our Listserv mailing list and no longer want to receive NSF Ocean Sciences communication by email, please send an email to: OCENEWSLETTER-signoff-request@LISTSERV.NSF.GOV
