Core Geoscience Research

Supports projects that expand the frontiers of knowledge in science and technology. The opportunities encourage projects that advance research on Earth’s atmosphere and the near-Earth space environment; solid Earth sciences and Earth surface processes; and all fields of ocean science.

 

Special Initiative Research

Supports opportunities for special initiatives aim to support projects that improve natural resource management, increase resilience to natural hazards and fuel innovation in critical and emerging technologies.
