Jessica Tierney Waterman Lecture Video

2022 Alan T. Waterman Award Distinguished Lecture

In this 2022 Waterman lecture, awardee Jessica Tierney of the University of Arizona discussed her work to understand how past climates on Earth, such as “greenhouse worlds,” can help us learn what a warmer world looks like and how weather and climate will behave. These ancient climates can help us prepare for the future.
