NSF launches pilot for national high school engineering course
Curriculum, student learning and teacher development will be evaluated in diverse U.S. schools

Hands-on design projects will be part of the standardized engineering curriculum being piloted in high schools around the country. The pilot's curriculum and professional development of teachers are designed to help more students prepare for and gain access to engineering careers.
