Jeanne VanBriesen to lead the NSF Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental and Transport Systems
The U.S. National Science Foundation has selected Dr. Jeanne M. VanBriesen of Carnegie Mellon University to serve as division director for the Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental and Transport Systems. VanBriesen, who begins her NSF term on August 16, 2021, is currently Duquesne Light Company Professor in the department of civil and environmental engineering and the department of engineering and public policy at Carnegie Mellon.
