Yesterday, the National Science Foundation launched NSF Science Now, an online weekly video news brief that highlights NSF science and engineering research and discoveries. The brief will be available on NSF's Science360 News Service every Wednesday.

The Science360 News Service is a daily email blast aggregating stories and multimedia of the day in all areas of science and engineering. It includes news from researchers, university press offices, popular and peer-reviewed journals and National Science Foundation science and engineering centers.

NSF Science Now also will be included on the video series page of, part of NSF's Knowledge Network, an immersive Web presence that engages the general public, science junkies and students in cutting-edge discoveries and big science stories.

Hosted by NSF's Dena Headlee, the weekly NSF Science Now will cover the latest in NSF-funded innovations and advances across all areas and disciplines of science, from astronomy to zoology. The fast-paced news round-up will report some of the top stories of the week.
