The U.S. National Science Foundation Division of Computer and Network Systems (NSF CNS) supports research on computer and network systems, cyber-physical systems and cybersecurity and their role in strengthening the security and resilience of the U.S. cyberinfrastructure and cyberspace — key to national security and economic growth. This includes research on hardware and software systems, future generation computing, secure and resilient cyberinfrastructure, and security, privacy and trust in cyberspace research. CNS also supports CISE research infrastructure and fosters collaboration through the NSF Industry-University Cooperative Research Centers program.
