IIS Newsletter and Listserv

October 9, 2019

Information and Intelligent Systems (IIS) has implemented an email listserv (IIS_News) to notify the community of items that may be of interest. The postings will be monthly and will include new funding opportunities, announcements, vacancy notices, CISE webcasts of interest, meeting notices, news items and panel opportunities.

If you'd like to receive our newsletter, please send an email to listserv@listserv.nsf.gov with the text of the message as follows:

subscribe IIS_News

for example: subscribe IIS_News John Smith

If you no longer wish to be included on the distribution list, you can elect to be removed from the list at any time. Instructions for unsubscribing will be included at the end of each list message.

The U.S. National Science Foundation propels the nation forward by advancing fundamental research in all fields of science and engineering. NSF supports research and people by providing facilities, instruments and funding to support their ingenuity and sustain the U.S. as a global leader in research and innovation. With a fiscal year 2023 budget of $9.5 billion, NSF funds reach all 50 states through grants to nearly 2,000 colleges, universities and institutions. Each year, NSF receives more than 40,000 competitive proposals and makes about 11,000 new awards. Those awards include support for cooperative research with industry, Arctic and Antarctic research and operations, and U.S. participation in international scientific efforts.
